BROKEN ARROW, OK (KTUL) — The Broken Arrow Police Department is holding a retirement ceremony for Chief Brandon Berryhill.
The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m.
Berryhill announced his retirement in May after spending 32 years in law enforcement service.
He spent 30 of those years with the City of Broken Arrow and has been serving as chief since 2017.
“Local policing is more than just law enforcement,” said Broken Arrow Mayor Debra Wimpee when Berryhill announced his retirement. “It’s preventing crimes before they happen, and Chief Brandon Berryhill has taken crime prevention to new heights with his focus on outreach and education to foster strong and steadfast relationships with Broken Arrow citizens.”
