The Deputy Agriculture Minister Mohamed Al-Turki has met with a Saudi delegation led by Abu Naif Al-Qarni, head of a regional agricultural investment group, to explore joint investment opportunities in the agricultural sector.
The meeting focused on strategic projects aimed at boosting food security and modernising agriculture in Libya. Both sides discussed proposals for large-scale initiatives involving advanced technologies and public-private partnerships.
Al-Turki welcomed Saudi interest, citing Libya’s favourable climate and strategic location for sustainable agricultural development. The two parties agreed to form joint technical teams to prepare investment studies, with plans to launch projects in the coming phases.
