The event, set for August 22 at Barrow Underground Music Society *(BUMS), will feature both bands from the area, and further afield.
The night kicks off with two bands from Barrow and nearby areas.
Antitank will start the evening with their blend of influences from Nirvana to Napalm Death.
Following them, grunge/punk band Divers Green will bring their 90s-style riffs and choruses.
The band has gained a reputation thanks to word of mouth, leading to an appearance at Kendal Calling this month.
Headcount, a crossover thrash/hardcore band from Hertfordshire, will also be performing.
In just a year, they have secured a spot on this year’s Bloodstock Festival lineup.
Headcount is known for their energetic performances and groovy riffs.
The night will close with a rare hometown performance from death metal band Repulsive Vision.
Formed in 2010, the band has had a 15-year career, including two album releases (2017’s ‘Look Past The Gore And See The Art’ and 2020’s ‘Necrovictology’) and performances worldwide, including recent shows in Germany and Japan.
After the bands, the team behind Ulverston’s Snakepit metal nights will keep the event going with a mix of classic, fan-favourite, and lesser-known tracks from various metal/rock genres.
Tickets are available from the BUMS website for £5.
