Tickets are currently available for a free talk organised by former Whittlesey councillor Elisabeth Sennitt-Clough.
The event is at St Mary’s Church, and is a talk on Farming in the 21st Century by Cambridgeshire’s agricultural chaplain, the Rev Geoff Dodgson.
He will speak about changes in agriculture (cropping, manpower, consumer trends) and current stressors to farming. The talk will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

Geoff has been involved in rural ministry for most of his life. He is Chaplain to the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists and has been appointed Chaplain to the Master of the Worshipful Company of Farmers for 2020/21.
An agriculturalist by training and a marketer by profession, Geoff lives in Fen Drayton, where he tries to tame a five-acre garden and works with gun dogs in the winter.
Once again, the talk is free, with doors opening at 6.30pm, and the event starting at 7pm.
Tickets are available through TicketSource.
Donations to the church are welcome, with the purchase of refreshments on the night.
Elisabeth said: “We don’t often get talks about farming, especially from an Agricultural Chaplain, so I thought it might be something different for people.
“It would be great to see people come along and hear what Geoff has to say, it is free and I think it will be interesting for those who attend.”
