We’ve been curious to try out Konami’s cute octopus platformer action game, Darwin’s Paradox, and fortunately, the publisher has seen fit to release a playable demo.
It’s available now on PS5, and in a fun twist, the demo is a crossover with the Metal Gear Solid series.

The demo contains Easter eggs related to Konami’s beloved stealth action series as you get to grips with Darwin’s octopus abilities, like camouflage and using ink to evade enemies. It’s a fun nod, and a neat way to make the demo a unique experience.
In addition to the demo, Konami has shared a release date for Darwin’s Paradox itself. It’s set for launch on 2nd April, 2026 on PS5.
