Bitcoin Price: Bitcoin price surged past $100,000, driven by global trade optimism and institutional adoption, ranking as the world’s fifth-largest asset.

Bitcoin reclaims $100,000-mark first time after February.

Bitcoin reclaims $100,000-mark first time after February.

Bitcoin Price: Bitcoin price smashed the psychological barrier of $100,000 amid the rising optimism due to trade deals among nations across the globe including US-UK trade deal. According to CoinMarketCap, bitcoin price was up 4 per cent in the past 24 hours to trade around $102,901.46. Over the past five days, the price upped 8.87 per cent, while a 37.20 per cent gain in the last one month. After reclaiming a $2 trillion market cap, Bitcoin becomes the world’s fifth-largest asset, surpassing Amazon.

Ashish Singhal, Co-founder, CoinSwitch said “Bitcoin’s strong recovery—crossing the $100,000 mark again, reflects a global convergence of policy shifts, institutional confidence, and macroeconomic tailwinds. The renewed optimism surrounding U.S.-China and U.S.-U.K. trade talks have lifted broader market sentiment including the steady interest rates by the US federal reserve and Bitcoin—as a digital risk asset—has benefited significantly, he added.

“Institutional adoption, especially through Bitcoin ETFs, has added unprecedented credibility and demand to the ecosystem. What’s especially significant is the U.S. government’s move to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve earlier this year—a historic signal that digital assets are being embraced at the sovereign level,” Singhal said.

The current surge marks the second leg of the broader bullish rally, and the opportunity to buy Bitcoin below the $100,000 mark may now be behind us, said Himanshu Maradiya, Founder and Chairman, CIFDAQ.

With institutional interest accelerating across the board, he added, this rally underscores the rapid maturation of the crypto market and its growing acceptance as a mainstream asset class.

    Altcoins Also See A Spike

Besides, the altcoins have also gained huge momentum as Ethereum rises above the pivotal resistance at $2,200 with over a 20% jump and Solana above $160, said CoinDCX. The other tokens within the top 10 have also surged, while Vittuals Protocol leads the top gainers with over a 40% jump, followed by Brett with 37%, Pepe with 30%, Story with 27.5% and Uniswap, OFFICIAL TRUMP & Ethena surge by over 25%.
