OKX Ventures, The Open Platform (TOP), and Folius Ventures have launched a $10 million fund called the Telegram Growth Hub to support the development of innovative projects on the TON blockchain within Telegram’s mini-app ecosystem. The hub will fund projects focused on three main areas: improving user onboarding, enhancing trading capabilities, and expanding Telegram’s mini-app ecosystem with applications like gaming and entertainment. Selected projects will gain financial support, access to developer tools, and mentorship. The program aims to foster user engagement on TON, leveraging Telegram’s massive user base and the TON ecosystem’s seamless integration with the platform. Applications are open until November 29, 2024.
OKX Ventures Partner Jeff Ren highlighted the program’s potential, stating, “This program represents our commitment to fostering innovation and supporting projects that will shape the future of decentralized applications on Telegram.” Similarly, TOP MD Andrey Klebanov emphasized the role of resource support in “bringing transformative projects to life within Telegram’s thriving Web3 ecosystem.” Folius Ventures Founder Jason Kam echoed the importance of streamlining onboarding, stating, “The impact the TON ecosystem has had on the broader Web3 space is sizable and self-evident.”
