On another note, Wall Street reported its biggest winning streak in 20 years after earnings from most big tech firms were done and non-farm payrolls were above estimates, prompting further pressure on the US Fed to cut interest rates. The FOMC and its policy outcome will be revealed later this week.
Nifty Bank is in focus today as SBI and Kotak Mahindra Bank react to their quarterly earnings. Netweb Tech, CDSL, Utkarsh Small Finance, Indian Bank and Avenue Supermarts are also reacting to their results today.
DCM Shriram CAMS, CCL Products, Prataap Snacks, Coforge, OneSource Specialty Pharma are among the other companies reporting their earnings.
