    NMDC Interim Dividend 2025: Maharatna PSU Stock To Trade Ex-Date Today

    NMDC declared its first interim dividend of Rs 2.30 per share for FY 2024-25, with March 21, 2025, as the record date. NMDC’s share price increased by 83.49% over the past two years.

    NMDC Interim Dividend 2025: NMCD’s shares will remain in focus today as PSU declared its first interim dividend of Rs 2.30 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25. The company has fixed March 21 as the record date.

    “The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Monday, 17th March 2025 inter-alia declared 1st interim dividend @ Rs 2.30 per equity share of face value of Rs 1 each for the financial year 2024-25,” the company said in the filing.

    “The said interim dividend shall be paid/ dispatched within the prescribed timelines as per the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, to those equity shareholders of the company whose names appear in the register of members/ records of depositories as beneficial owners of the equity shares as on Friday, the March 21, 2025, which is the record date fixed for the purpose.”

    NMDC Dividend History

    In 2024, NMDC distributed dividends twice, specifically for bonus allocation. The PSU declared an interim dividend of Rs 5.75 per share in February, followed by a final dividend of Rs 1.50 per share in September.

    In the previous year, 2023, NMDC also paid dividends on two occasions — Rs 3.75 per share in February and Rs 2.85 per share in September.

    Looking further back, in 2022, NMDC issued a Rs 5.73 per share dividend in February before demerging NMDC Steel in October.

    NMDC Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Steel, is engaged in the exploration of iron ore, rock, gypsum, magnesite, diamond, tin, tungsten, graphite, coal, and other minerals.

    Year-to-date, NMDC’s share price increased by Rs 2.83, up 4.29%, while the Sensex decreased by 2.75%, BSE Commodities saw a slight increase of 0.36%, and BSE METAL rose by 8.51%. Over the past three months, the share price decreased by Rs 2.24, a 3.15% drop, with the Sensex down by 2.17%, BSE Commodities by 0.90%, and BSE METAL up by 5.70%. In the past six months, the price decreased by Rs 1.97, a 2.78% drop, while the Sensex fell by 9.69%, BSE Commodities by 6.62%, and BSE METAL by 2.06%.

    Over the past year, the share price increased by Rs 0.30, a 0.44% change, with the Sensex up by 5.89%, BSE Commodities by 13.46%, and BSE METAL by 16.39%. In the past two years, the price went up by Rs 31.31, an 83.49% increase, while the Sensex rose by 32.48%, BSE Commodities by 46.65%, and BSE METAL by 64.06%. Over the past three years, the share price increased by Rs 27.72, a 67.46% change, with the Sensex up by 31.94%, BSE Commodities by 27.40%, and BSE METAL by 44.06%.
