The Board of Muthoot Finance Ltd. on Monday, April 21, recommended an interim dividend of ₹26 per share for the financial year 2024-25.
The interim dividend will be paid to the shareholders within 30 days from the date of declaration, the company said in an exchange filing.
Record date for the said dividend is yet to be determined.
Shares of Muthoot Finance will trade ex-dividend on the day or a day before the record date.
When a company goes ex-dividend on a particular date, its stock does not carry the value of the next dividend payment. An ex-dividend date also dictates which shareholders are eligible to receive the dividend payment.
Shares of Muthoot Finance Ltd. are currently trading 4.57% higher on Monday at ₹2,208. The stock is flat on a year-to-date basis.
