Armstrong Fluid Technology is adding another plant to operate alongside its existing site in a bid to cope with the rising demand for its products.
They anticipate that this addition will create new job opportunities in the Droitwich region.
Since 2004, the company has been at the heart of the West Midlands, producing packaged plant rooms and integrated offsite solutions.
These product solutions include equipment such as pumps, pipework, boilers, and chillers, all shipped to customers across the UK.
Armstrong Fluid Technology has been helping clients from as far afield as Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, providing essential heating and cooling services for universities, offices, hospitals, and blocks of flats.
In 2021, Armstrong Fluid Technology moved its manufacturing operations, warehouse, and office staff to Pointon Way from its previous site in Halesowen.
This relocation allowed for significant growth, necessitating the new unit on the Potter Space industrial estate.
An extra 24,400 sq ft of warehouse and office space is set to be commandeered by the company at unit 103.
This extension will house stores, some sub-assembly, product testing, and administrative functions.
The additional room will enhance manufacturing capacity at the current factory.
The brand-new unit has been designed with energy efficiency in mind, boasting solar panels, efficient insulation, water and drainage systems, LED lighting, and air permeability to prevent heat loss during colder months.
As Armstrong Fluid Technology plans its progression, relevantly skilled individuals are encouraged to get in touch with the company to explore potential job opportunities in the Droitwich area.
Joseph Keenan, managing director for Armstrong Fluid Technology in the UK, said: “This is an exciting time for us, as we embark on plans for further expansion.
“Our Droitwich factory is a centre of excellence for the production of packaged plantrooms and integrated offsite solutions, recognised across the world.
“We are committed to manufacturing in the Midlands and look forward to welcoming new recruits to our workforce over the coming months.”
The firm’s continued growth and commitment to manufacturing in the West Midlands has been welcomed by local business leaders.
