Property owners respond to PSEG’s allegations of threats, request for US Marshals’ help

    August 22, 20251 Min Read

In a court filing on Wednesday, Aug. 20, some property owners denied wrongdoing after the energy company Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) accused them of intimidating or threatening agents who were attempting to conduct surveys on their land.

Most of the property owners named in the filing also consented to the use of U.S. Marshals to protect the agents tasked with carrying out the surveys, though one did not. That property owner still agreed to cooperate with the survey process.

The surveys are for a proposed transmission line project that would cross properties in Frederick, Carroll and Baltimore counties.
