LCF Law strengthens real estate and corporate teams

    October 12, 20252 Mins Read

Yorkshire law firm LCF Law has strengthened its team with the appointments of Joseph McCullough as senior associate in real estate and Sam Durling, who joins the corporate team.

Joseph, who qualified in 2008, brings nearly 20 years of experience advising developers and businesses on site acquisitions, joint ventures, finance arrangements and lease restructures.

Recent work includes multiple store acquisitions for a national retailer and supporting a café chain in York and Leeds on a business sale.

Sam, recognised in Legal 500 2024, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, asset disposals, restructures and governance matters, working with family-owned and owner-managed businesses across healthcare, hospitality, nurseries and manufacturing.

Ragan Montgomery, LCF Law’s managing partner, said: “These appointments reflect our ongoing commitment to attracting highly skilled lawyers who share our values and our drive to deliver clear, practical and commercially focused advice.

“Joseph’s depth of experience in the real estate sector will be invaluable to our developer and business clients as he takes a clear, proactive approach, which helps clients minimise risk, and he progresses projects with the utmost confidence.

“Sam is well known for his commercial awareness and pragmatic problem-solving, with one client describing him as being the most valuable player in a high-stakes transaction, and his technical expertise and client-first approach strengthens our corporate team further.

“Both will play an important role in supporting the firm’s growth and helping our clients achieve their goals.”

LCF Law has over 145 staff across offices in Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and Ilkley, operating regionally, nationally and internationally.
