What skills do you possess that will make you effective in the U.S. House?
I use my experience as an Army veteran, surgeon, and business owner to solve problems and advocate effectively for our district. Just recently, I was able to pass part of my bill to provide back pay to servicemembers who were discharged for refusing to take the COVID vaccine. My years in the private sector also taught me the value of teamwork, which is why I believe it’s important for officials at different levels of government to collaborate. For example, I communicate regularly with law enforcement across the Panhandle on ways to curb the fentanyl crisis and respond effectively to severe weather.
If elected, what is the one thing that you want to accomplish in the next congressional session?
My biggest policy goals going forward are to secure the southern border, get inflation down, and get our economy back on track. Simply put, the best way to achieve this is to elect President Trump and reinstate his policies. We must finish the border wall, reinstate the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy, end ‘Catch and Release,’ and stop taxpayer dollars from paying for benefits for illegal immigrants. We also must double down on President Trump’s tax relief agenda for workers and families. I am proud to have President Trump’s endorsement and remain committed to restoring his agenda.

What skills do you possess that will make you effective in office?
As a dedicated advocate for my community, I bring almost two decades of experience in public service, including my work as an ethics attorney and being a champion for children and families as a lawyer for the Guardian Ad Litem Program. My ability to navigate complex issues with integrity, collaborate across diverse groups, and find practical solutions will help me effectively represent and fight for the people of our district. If elected what is the one thing you want to accomplish in office?
If elected, I will make it my mission to ensure that every family in our district has access to affordable housing and lower property insurance costs. The skyrocketing costs of living are burdening too many hardworking families, and I am committed to finding sustainable solutions such as investing in job creation, vocational training, and small businesses to make the American Dream attainable for everyone. By tackling these issues head-on, I aim to bring meaningful change to improve the lives of our communities.
