    Blackstone se prépare à acheter pour 9,8 MdsE de biens immobiliers en Europe

    LONDRES (Reuters) – Blackstone a annoncé mercredi la clôture d’un fonds immobilier européen de 9,8 milliards d’euros, le groupe de capital-investissement américain pariant sur les signes de reprise du secteur malgré l’aggravation des turbulences sur les marchés financiers.

    Cette levée de fonds, “Europe Real Estate Partners VII”, est selon Blackstone le plus grand regroupement de capitaux externes jamais réalisé pour l’immobilier européen.

    “La reprise de l’immobilier se profile à l’horizon”, a déclaré James Seppala, responsable de l’immobilier européen chez Blackstone, ajoutant voir un environnement “riche en opportunités”.

    Les marchés immobiliers, qui ont montré des signes de reprise au cours des derniers mois, pourraient malgré tout être impactés par les droits de douane américains de Donald Trump, les acteurs du secteur se méfiant de toute retombée sur l’activité.

    Les stratégies opportunistes de Blackstone – qui ciblent généralement les biens immobiliers à haut risque et nécessitant des rénovations, mais offrant un fort potentiel de rentabilité – ont levé près de 47 milliards de dollars (42,62 milliards d’euros) de capitaux à l’échelle mondiale, a déclaré le groupe dans un communiqué.
