Zuleyka Silver, who portrays Audra, revealed how her character intends to win back Nate on The Young and the Restless. Nate and Audra seemed happy together, but her schemes ultimately ruined it all. It also made Nate realize that Audra hasn’t changed. Silver explains that Audra has come to understand that if she truly wants to be with Nate, she must stop being dishonest. This is because her lying nature will only push him further away.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Silver explained that although Audra has kept up her dishonesty, she now understands that it only drives her further from Nate. “She’s still lying, but I think she’s starting to realize that’s not going to get her where she wants to get with Nate. She’s not going to get him back that way,” she said.
To win back Nate, she must stop lying not just to Nate but also to herself. Furthermore, she teased that the audience could expect Audra’s honest side to resurface more in the upcoming days. “She was somewhat honest with him at Crimson Lights when she admitted to going after Kyle, and we’re gonna see more of that,” she added. Silver mentioned that the audience gets to see a more vulnerable side to Audra, where she will fully take accountability for her actions.
She explained, ” It’s the most vulnerable we’ve seen her, and I think it’s the most raw we’re going to see her. And I think that’s huge for Audra, because she’s never done that, I don’t think, in her life, actually.”
Silver revealed that she and Sean Dominic genuinely enjoyed shooting these scenes, calling the experience “rewarding.” She also described the scenes as “raw, sad, and everything.”
“So she is going to continue to pursue Nate. And I think she’s realized that again, lying isn’t gonna get her anywhere. So she’s just facing her demons. She’s facing the music,” she further elaborated.
For Audra, the realization came late that she ruined something great and didn’t value Nate when he was with her. It was when she lost him that her eyes were truly opened. Now, Audra is aware of her feelings and will fight for her love, even if it means opening up her vulnerable side.
