Since July 2009, Geetha has dedicated herself to advancing analytical chemistry practices at what began as Johnson Matthey and later became Asahi Refining USA Inc. following the 2015 acquisition. Over more than fifteen years, she has progressed from chemist to Laboratory Supervisor, currently overseeing a team of ten specialized professionals including chemists, fire assayers, and laboratory technicians. Her responsibilities extend far beyond routine supervision, encompassing the orchestration of complex analytical workflows involving Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) spectroscopy, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), and traditional fire assay techniques—all critical methods for determining the purity and composition of precious metals.
