Kelly Marie Tran, Benedict Wong, and Jimmy O. Yang are set to lead the upcoming horror film Rock Springs.
The film centers around a grieving young girl who moves to Rock Springs, Wyoming after the death of her father, only to discover there is something monstrous hidden in the town’s history and the woods behind their new house, Variety reported.
Tran previously starred in the Disney film Raya and the Last Dragon, along with credits in the show Sorry for Your Loss. Wong starred in the Netflix series 3 Body Problem, and Yang is known for his roles in the shows Space Force and Silicon Valley.
Fiona Fu (Away, Tiger Tail) and Aria Kim are also set to star in the film, directed by Vera Miao (Expats, Two Sentence Horror Stories), and will be her feature debut.
Rock Springs will be co-financed by Gold House, who will additionally serve as executive producers and will provide cultural consultation. The film is currently in pre-production and is set to shoot in Vancouver at an unknown date.
