SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Update: SPD says Rogers was safely located.
The Springfield Police Department has issued an endangered silver alert for a missing 69-year-old woman with Dementia.
According to police, Barbara Jean Rogers walked away on foot from her apartment in the 2400 block of S. Ingram Mill Road overnight between Saturday and Sunday.
Police say Rogers is described as a black female, age 69, hgt 5′5″, 120 lbs, black hair that is shorter on the top with blonde dreadlocks in the back, brown eyes, wearing a red bonnet, hoop earrings, pink striped onesie pajamas, and carrying a brown purse.
She has been diagnosed with Dementia and has a history of not always recalling her name or date of birth.
Anyone seeing the missing person or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Springfield Police Department at 417-862-7911.
