Ron “C.I.” Insinger, Pennsylvania’s all-time winningest coach, has announced his retirement after five decades leading the Loyalsock Township boys’ basketball team, according to the Williamsport Sun-Gazette.
Insinger ranks No. 17 nationally in career wins, with 1,059, according to Max Preps. That is the most in Pennsylvania history. He began coaching at Loyalsock in 1974 and has 12 District IV titles, 25 conference championships and 27 Coach of the Year honors.

In 2024, Insinger battled cancer but never missed a practice or game despite undergoing chemotherapy. The gym at Loyalsock is named in his honor.
