Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a global hub for industrial investment and strategic innovation. This year’s Global Investors Summit is drawing attention not only for its magnificence but also for its significant strategic advancements and new industrial vision.
Bhopal, traditionally recognized for its administrative and cultural significance, is now set to become a key global destination for investment and trade. For the first time, the Global Investors Summit will be hosted in Bhopal, the city of lakes. The city’s appeal, combined with the state government’s transparent and investor-friendly policies, is attracting strong interest from businesses and industrialists.
This year’s Global Investors Summit has introduced a new model of a policy-driven investment summit. For the first time, the government is presenting over 20 policies simultaneously, providing investors with a clear strategic roadmap and opportunities across various sectors. This approach ensures that investors not only explore potential opportunities but also receive concrete government-backed plans and immediate, effective policy support.
Moving beyond the traditional conference format, this edition of the summit will serve as a platform for focused investment discussions. Dedicated sessions will be held for key sectors such as IT, textiles, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, EVs, and renewable energy, facilitating direct dialogue and sector-specific agreements between industry leaders and the government. For the first time, the industrial expo and Make in MP have been integrated into the summit, showcasing Madhya Pradesh’s industrial strength, manufacturing capabilities, and its evolving role in the global supply chain.
A strategy has been prepared to make GIS-2025 a ‘zero waste’ summit. Only electric vehicles will be used at the summit venue, the venue will be powered by 100% renewable energy and the entire summit will incorporate paperless operations, artificial intelligence-based interactions and digital technology.
Bhopal is set to establish a new identity as an industrial capital for the first time. This event will serve as a foundation for the state’s new industrial journey, creating significant opportunities not only for large investors but also for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and startUps. An action plan has been designed to connect local enterprises with global investors and technical partners, facilitating their expansion into national and international markets.
The industrial areas surrounding the capital, including Mandideep, Govindpura, Bagroda, Pilukhedi, and other industrial hubs, will benefit from new investments, advanced technologies, and global collaborations through this summit. GIS-2025 will not only attract investment but also provide employment and skill development opportunities for the youth. The summit will witness the signing of MoUs aimed at generating new job opportunities in IT, manufacturing, electronics, biotechnology, and other key sectors.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh has transformed from a state of possibilities into the next hub of industrial growth.
The state’s economic strength, policy-driven industrial model, and commitment to attracting global investments will be showcased to the world through GIS 2025. Bhopal is evolving beyond being just the capital of Madhya Pradesh and is on its way to becoming a symbol of India’s emerging industrial future. GIS-2025 will play a pivotal role in laying a strong foundation for this transformation.
