LeBron James announced on Monday that “The Second Decision” is scheduled for Tuesday, but what will it be?
James posted a mysterious video showing the Los Angeles Lakers star walking over and sitting in an empty chair for what appears to be a sit-down interview. “The decision of all decisions,” the caption reads. “October 7th. 12pm EST. 🫡👑”

“The Second Decision” is in reference to the 2010’s The Decision, an ESPN special in which LeBron announced that he planned on signing with the Miami Heat as an unrestricted free agent.
Considering the backstory of The Decision, some believe “The Second Decision” will see the 40-year-old James, who is entering his 23rd season in the NBA, making a big announcement about his future in the league.
Others believe “The Second Decision” will turn out to be an ad.
Here’s how people have been responding to LeBron’s puzzling post.
LeBron James, who is widely considered one of the best basketball players of all time, entered the NBA in 2003 as the No. 1 overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers following an impressive high school career. Since he entered the league at 18 years old, James has played for the Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers, earning four NBA championships along the way.
