Andhra Pradesh Aims For $150 Billion in Investments With Launch Of Electronics Policy 4.0

    August 1, 20252 Mins Read

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved the Electronics Components Manufacturing Policy 4.0 (2025–30) aimed at attracting $150 billion in investments and expanding the electronics manufacturing ecosystem across the state, The New Indian Express reported.

The policy offers a range of incentives to electronics component manufacturers, including advance and matching incentives, interim support, and plug-and-play infrastructure in dedicated clusters.

Additional concessions will be extended to mega projects.

The policy is expected to generate large-scale employment in regions such as Sri City, Orvakal, Kopparthi, and Hindupur.

In the latest Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, proposals worth approximately Rs 80,000 crore were approved. These projects are expected to create around 1.5 lakh jobs.

The Cabinet also cleared a land allotment to Sify Infinite Spaces Limited based on recommendations from the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB).

This includes 3.6 acres at IT Hill No. 3 in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam district, priced at Rs 1 crore per acre, and 50 acres at Paradesipalem at Rs 50 lakh per acre.

The investment, estimated at Rs 16,466 crore, will generate 600 jobs and is set to position Visakhapatnam as a major data infrastructure hub, bolstering the state’s digital capabilities.

The Cabinet cleared the Technical Committee’s final recommendations to complete 20 ongoing infrastructure packages under the AIIB-funded Andhra Pradesh Urban Water Supply and Septage Management Improvement Project (APUWS&SMIP).

Tenders will soon be invited for the remaining works under the project.
