True Potential Wealth Management has announced a strategic partnership with behavioural risk suitability fintech Oxford Risk.
The partnership will see True Potential Wealth Management, part of the True Potential Group, roll out Oxford Risk’s Investor Compass technology across its national advice firm.
The firm said it will support more than 1,200 financial advisers and 200,000 clients nationwide.
Investor Compass allows advisers and clients to complete a repeatable investment risk suitability assessment in two minutes.
The firm said it is built on advanced behavioural finance theory and the technology goes beyond traditional risk profiling, analysing up to 20 behavioural dimensions, such as composure, confidence and impulsivity.
Jamie Sexton, chief client officer at True Potential Wealth Management, said: “Partnering with Oxford Risk to deploy their Investor Compass solution strengthens our ability to deliver more personalised, insight-driven advice.
“We recognise that assessing risk tolerance is only one part of the solution, so we’re moving beyond a standardised attitude to risk questionnaire to give our advisers and clients a more holistic view of suitability.
“The ease with which clients can complete the questionnaire and understand the process is especially appealing, and the outputs empower our financial advisers to better serve their clients.”
The rollout of Oxford Risk’s Investor Compass risk suitability solution across the True Potential platform is imminent.
Oxford Risk’s chief client officer, James Pereira-Stubbs, said: “We are delighted to provide the most holistic and robust investor suitability solution to True Potential to improve their client experience, support better adviser-client conversations, and build the foundations for personalised behavioural engagement.
“True Potential sets the bar really high, and it’s our privilege to serve them.”
