Indian fintech player Paytm on Monday announced a new version of its flagship app, integrating AI-driven features to streamline and personalise everyday transactions for its users.
Coinciding with this, Paytm has also launched a new AI-powered travel app Paytm Checkin.
The app offers bookings across flights, trains, and buses and uses AI for personalization.
Similar to how other online travel players use AI, Paytm said its in-app AI assistant will allow travelers to “ask, browse, and make bookings through simple conversation.” The company added that it will also recommend destinations, curate personalized itineraries, and organize bookings. The AI features of the app are currently in early beta, Paytm Travel said. Aside from AI features, the app offers real-time flight tracking and zero convenience fees on bookings.
