    Europe ‘still the centre’ of fintech despite possible Revolut exit

    Europe is still the centre of fintech innovation despite Revolut and Wise eyeing US listings, according to European tech companies and investors.

    In a major blow to the London Stock Exchange, Revolut chief executive Nikolay Storonsky decided against a UK listing last year, saying it is “not rational” and that London cannot compete with the US market. UK challenger bank Starling is also reportedly weighing a US initial public offering, while fintech Wise said it will move its primary listing from London to a US stock exchange next year.
