    WVU Agricultural Sciences Building closed due to chemical leak

    MORGANTOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – UPDATE: 10/26/24 10:56 AM: Individuals are urged to avoid the West Virginia University (WVU) Agricultural Sciences Building due to a chemical leak.

    ORIGINAL STORY: WVU issued an alert Saturday morning, October 26, after a chemical leak was reported at the Agricultural Sciences Building on the Evansdale campus.

    The incident, reported just before 9 a.m., prompted the immediate closure of the building as a precautionary measure.

    No injuries have been reported, and the building will remain closed until further notice as safety assessments continue.

    Teams from WVU Environmental Health and Safety are working to evaluate the situation, with support from the WVU Police Department and other campus departments and agencies.
