The United States Department of Agriculture has classified ten additional counties in Northwest Ohio as either primary or contiguous drought counties.
This means that 75% of Ohio counties are now eligible for a variety of agricultural assistance programs.
Logan and Union Counties are primary counties in our region.
Hardin, Auglaize and Hancock counties are contiguous drought counties.
These designations allow the USDA Farm Service Agency to extend assistance to agricultural producers through a variety of programs. These programs are available to both new and existing users of FSA services.
