Mafia: The Old Country review – by-the-numbers yet beautiful
Next up on the features docket: our belated review of Mafia: The Old Country. We didn’t get this one from the publisher, but as an incorrigible lover of Cosa Nostra stories I volunteered myself to spend a few days no-lifing this and then mulling it over – and now my verdict is here.
It’s a praised-filled but caveated 3/5. “If you’re willing to accept that the relatively unremarkable gameplay offering is simply a vehicle for some lovely storytelling, I think you’re going to have a good time here,” I muse.
