The world’s largest indoor combined agricultural and equestrian show takes place in Toronto, and is set to make its return next month.
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair will run in the city from Nov. 9 to 16 as it celebrates its 103rd anniversary.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be kicking off the 103rd Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and celebrate the very best in agriculture, education, culinary and equestrian,” says Cyrus Cooper, the fair’s chief executive officer.
“The Royal is where tradition, community and fun all meet under one roof — and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for another incredible year of bringing the country to the city.”
Taking place at Toronto’s Exhibition Place, visitors can expect Royal horse show entertainment, Shetland pony rides, a petting farm and animal features, plus a holiday market featuring everything from handmade crafts to gourmet treats.
From Nov. 12 to 16, Santa will be stopping by the market between noon to 3 p.m. So, don’t forget your wish list and a camera to snap a pic with the man himself.
The fan-favourite Chef’s Table Dining Series will also return for guests to enjoy a meal from “the very best of Canadian culinary talent.”
Celebrity chef and restaurateur Michael Bonacini, along with Eric Robinson of the recently awarded Michelin Star restaurant, Pearl Morissette, will be part of this year’s series roster.
Daily Chef’s Table Cooking Classes will also be part of the fair for attendees to learn hands-on from chefs including Jason Bangerter of Langdon Hall, Coulson Armstrong of Prime Seafood Palace, and Amanda Ray of Drake Devonshire.
The thrilling Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Jumping will bring “Olympic-level” equestrians to Toronto during the celebration.
Perhaps the cutest part of the 2025 edition is its Royal ambassador, Rosie. Rosie is a six-year-old miniature donkey from Oshawa. And she is the first donkey ever to serve as an official ambassador to the fair.
“She’s captured hearts across Canada already and will be helping to share the story of this year’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair,” according to the team at the fair.
Tickets to the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair are available online with single day general admission on sale for $37.11. Find Exhibition Place at 100 Princes’ Blvd.
