Snake Eater Patch 1.1.3 Is Now Out For Steam

    September 8, 20252 Mins Read

Konami is back with another patch update for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. In the previous update, they tackled some awkward bugs, like the one that made Snake float mid-air, and got rid of the ones that caused the game to crash.

The good news is that the developers have been busy, and three days ago, we saw them release the game’s patch 1.1.3 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. And while PC players may not have received the patch then, it is finally here, along with some plans for the much-needed performance fixes.

Metal Gear Solid Delta Patch 1.1.3 Brings Inverted Horizontal Camera Look

You can check out the Patch notes on Konami’s official website or on Steam. Here is what this update brings:

    • Added Inverted Camera Look (Horizontal) option. (This setting can be found in the Options menu under Controls.)
    • Fixed an issue where players might not receive the reward for collecting all GA-KO.
    • Updated textures and models in certain scenes.
    • Resolved most issues that could cause the game to crash after investigating received reports.
    • Minor bug fixes and adjustments.

While the above fixes are much appreciated, the bigger takeaway and something to look forward to are the upcoming features that the developers confirmed they are investigating and working on:

    • Support for 21:9 aspect ratio displays (excluding demo scenes).
    • In-game feature to check system specifications.
    • Improvements to overall performance stability.

The support for ultra-wide might finally be upon us soon. Especially if it comes with better performance. Patch 1.1.2 was released on August 28th, and now, within 11 days, we have patch 1.1.3. So, if the developers continue to deliver updates at this speed, it is safe to assume we can hope for the next patch again in around 2 weeks.

Considering how wonderful the game is, it isn’t hard to see that the developers have put their heart and soul into (re)making it. Especially, seeing their dedication to fixing the bugs and timely rolling out patch updates. This makes it all the more worth it for its sales records, and we would gladly like to see more such remakes in the future!
