    Rainbow Six Siege teases Solid Snake, iconic Metal Gear weapon leaked

    Rainbow Six Siege has just teased Solid Snake as an upcoming character in the game. Fans of the series were shocked by the teaser. The YouTube teaser announcement mentioned Solid Snake, which could indicate some sort of a crossover similar to previous collabs with The Boys or AoT. Furthermore, his potential primary weapon has been leaked, too.

    Rainbow Six Siege and Solid Snake: Teaser and leaks provide a bigger picture

    The official Rainbow Six Siege teaser opens with a character wearing night vision goggles that appear similar to Solid Snake’s equipment in the Metal Gear Solid games. As the clip goes on, fans get a glimpse of Snake himself; however, his face is never revealed, leaving behind an element of mystery.

    The title of the teaser clearly names Solid Snake, therefore, leaving little room for doubt. Fans can watch the full reveal on February 15, 2026, at 8 am PT / 11 am ET / 5 pm CET on the official Rainbow 6 Siege Twitch channel. The full reveal may help bring more clarity to the whole situation.

    On the other hand, messages were leaked from the R6X leaks Discord server showing a brand new weapon for the new Operator codenamed ‘Diamond’. The new weapon is a silenced pistol resembling Solid Snake’s guns, the Socom MK 23 from Metal Gear Solid 1, and the WU Silent Pistol from Metal Gear Solid 5.

    As pointed out by popular R6 leaker, @Shiiny77, the gun is essentially a Ruger Mark IV Tactical with a suppressor. The pistol comes equipped with a suppressor, along with a laser, which could act as attachments. However, there is no confirmation about this just yet. The leaker has previously provided credible information about the games.

    Overall, both the leak and the teaser point to the arrival of Solid Snake in Rainbow Six Siege. This would certainly be an unexpected turn of events for the game and something that has never been seen before.
