Octopus Energy to offer ‘discounts’ over eight days starting November 24

    November 22, 20253 Mins Read

The firm is offering a range of deals

Customers of a certain energy company could be entitled to a number of discounts next week. Octopus Energy is offering a range of deals over an eight-day period starting on Monday (November 24).

These freebies range from food, to cinema tickets, to toys. Dubbed its “Pink Friday” deals, these are available to its Octoplus members.

The team at Money Saving Expert (MSE) highlighted the offers on social media. In a post made to X, MSE said: “Octoplus member? Between Monday 24 Nov and Tuesday 2 Dec you can bag daily ‘Pink Friday’ freebies and discounts, including free Greggs sausage rolls and free cinema tickets (on top of its usual perks).”

On its website, MSE further explained: “Many of the major energy providers have loyalty schemes, offering rewards to its existing customers. These schemes are not necessarily a reason to switch, but if you are already a customer, they could be worth checking out.”

Octoplus is free to join for electricity-only or dual-fuel Octopus Energy customers that have smart meters. It gives access to freebies and discounts, and lets you earn “Octopoints”, which can be converted into bill credit.

The new Octoplus Pink Friday offers include the following.

Monday 24 November – free Greggs sausage roll (or savoury item of your choice).

Tuesday 25 November – free Constantine chocolates.

Wednesday 26 November – up to two free Odeon cinema tickets per customer.

Thursday 27 November – free Octopus plush toy.

Friday 28 November – £8 off UberEats for a Friday night takeaway.

Monday 1 December – £8 dishes at AskItalian.

Tuesday 2 December – send an Appleyard London bouquet to a loved one for £8 (68 per cent off RRP).

All offers are subject to availability. Other offers currently available to Octoplus customers include:

    • A free drink from Greggs or Caffè Nero (while stocks last). Usually excludes speciality or limited-time drinks
    • Two Vue cinema tickets for £8. For Super Saver seats or Lux Super Saver seats any day of the week at any Vue cinema
    • 25 per cent off main meals at selected restaurants. Including Harvester, Stonehouse, Toby Carvery, Ember Inns and Sizzling Pubs, for up to eight people Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holidays)
    • National Trust family day pass for £8. The day pass covers up to two adults and three children at selected National Trust sites
    • Offers on national zoo tickets. Get a free child ticket with a full paying adult ticket at Dartmoor Zoo, Marwell Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo, or get 2 for 1 entry at Twycross Zoo

You can earn extra Octopoints by taking part in Saving Sessions and Free Electricity sessions, submitting meter readings or referring friends. 800 points are worth £1 and can be converted into bill credit at anytime.
