BRECKSVILLE, Ohio
Property damage, Riverview Road: On June 27, a Riverview Road homeowner came to the police station to report a neighbor dispute.
An officer talked to the woman, who said for more than two decades she’s had ongoing issues with a neighbor.
Two weeks prior, the resident in question was out with a metal detector looking for a property stake between the two properties.
Then a few days earlier, the homeowner noticed the resident starting cutting her bushes along the property line.
An arriving officer confirmed a bush was cut down to reveal the property stake.
Other bushes were cut back 18 inches from outside of resident’s fence line.
The officer concluded there was no intent to damage any bushes.
The resident was trimming bushes that were growing on her property, attempting to locate the property stake.
No charges were filed.
