Metal Eden, the fast-paced sci-fi FPS from Reikon Games and Deep Silver, is set to release next week.
Our sister site, Game Rant, had the opportunity to go hands-on with the game earlier this year and loved what they saw. They compared gameplay to reminiscent of Doom (2016) and Titanfall 2, which is a huge win in my book.
Last week, the team released an all-new ASKA gameplay trailer, and that comparison feels pretty dead-on. Titanfall-esque movement feels incredibly relevant, and the combat looks and feels eerily similar to what we had in Doom’s 2016 reboot. Given the high praise for both those games, we could be in for a treat.
Here’s the trailer’s description to highlight what we’ll be in for next week.
Explore a variety of alien environments using ASKA’s unique mobility kit. Every level is a playground of verticality and momentum. This is not just combat, it’s art.
Originally slated for a May 6th release date after its reveal at the February PlayStation State of Play, the game was delayed to address feedback the development team received for the demo. Now, that wait is almost over.
Here’s the rundown for global release times for Metal Eden. All times are using the 24-hour format.

For those looking for a futuristic sci-fi FPS inspired by Ghost in the Shell, your time is coming. The visual aesthetic is there, and the gameplay is, on paper, doing all the right things. We’ll see if that delay for extra polish will be able to help the game stick the landing.
Metal Eden will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A demo for the game is currently available for you to try out before the game’s launch next week.
