Konami shared a survey with fans ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2025 that included asking them which Metal Gear game they want remade.
Tokyo Game Show 2025 is right around the corner, and Konami will be there in some capacity. Coming off of the launch of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Konami has seen the renewed interest in the franchise and is checking the temperature on what fans would like to see next. It has put out a Japanese survey that not only includes questions about what new and current Metal Gear game updates players would like to see, but also which Metal Gear games they would like to see remade.
Konami dropped its Metal Gear Solid survey ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2025, as shared and lightly translated by fan group Metal Gear Network. As can be seen in some of the translated screenshots, the questions include what kind of news fans would like to hear about on Metal Gear Solid Delta and the classic Metal Gear collections.

Interestingly, it asks which Metal Gear game fans want to see remade, which not only includes the whole Metal Gear Solid series, but also the original Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2, and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. There’s also a slot to put in “others,” for which you could mention spinoffs.
With Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater having given new life to conversations about the series, it will be interesting to see what Konami does next with it, but it looks like fans have some say in the matter. As we await what comes of the survey, stay tuned to the Metal Gear series topic for news and updates.
