ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Those in the Rochester area can support local farmers by visiting the Sunday Farmer’s Market hosted by Village Agricultural Cooperative on Sunday, Aug. 25.
The Village Agricultural Cooperative is a non-profit organization and a collaboration of people all over the world working to help immigrants acquire fresh produce.
The organization has also helped connect at least 200 families with land access to grow their own food.
The organization’s market Sunday will be featuring a variety of fresh produce grown by farmers in the Rochester area.
The market will be starting at 8 a.m. and will be running until noon.
