TBT Agro, one of Nigeria’s rising agritech companies, has launched a digital platform to address key challenges in Nigeria’s agricultural commodity market, including lack of market accessibility, price manipulation, unreliable supply chains, and inefficient logistics.
The platform, according to the company, streamlines agro commodities’ sourcing, buying, and selling, improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility for stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.
Speaking at the launch, Tesleem Tunji-Bello, Co-Founder of TBT Agro, highlighted the difficulties farmers and suppliers face in accessing larger markets and securing fair prices for their produce.

He said: “One of the biggest barriers in Nigeria’s agricultural sector is the lack of direct market accessibility. Many suppliers struggle to connect with serious buyers, leading to price instability and wastage.
“By leveraging technology, we facilitate seamless transactions, provide real-time market insights, and help businesses procure agro commodities efficiently.”
TBT Agro is a technology-driven agricultural marketplace committed to enhancing Nigeria’s agro-commodity sector by providing innovative digital solutions that streamline sourcing, procurement, and trade.

According to the company, since its pilot phase, TBT Agro has onboarded over 1,000 farmers and aims to expand its reach to over 20,000 farmers within the next 18 months. The platform also plans to integrate predictive analytics and AI-driven market intelligence to further optimise agricultural sourcing and trade.
“We are not just creating a platform; we are redefining how agro commodities are sourced and traded in Nigeria,” said Seyi Awolowo, Brand Partner of TBT Agro. “By bridging critical gaps in the supply chain, we are making agricultural trade more structured, efficient, and profitable for all stakeholders.”
