2025 is looking to be a big year for FPS titles. We already have Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 releasing back-to-back within a month’s gap from each other. We are also seeing Extraction shooters get more active with Arena Breakout Infinite being released just a few days ago, and Escape from Tarkov 1.0 coming soon.
Now, similar to ABI, Delta Force is another free-to-play, FPS extraction shooter, and it is only natural that they do something to keep up with the competition. They currently have Mixed reviews on Steam at the time of writing this article, so they need to do something big to either make their fanbase happy or attract players from other games.
Luckily, there is another military-themed Tactical Espionage Action game that has gained popularity again thanks to its latest remake. And there is a possibility that these developers might be cooking up a collaboration.
In their recent X (formerly Twitter) post, Delta Force Game made the following tweet: “Do you want to come inside the box? New collaboration is coming soon!”
The post got a mixed reception, with a lot of the comments joking about the caption. User SkyeKing said, “Pause”. Meanwhile, another user, Sowdy, said, “Do what now?” followed by the Rowley Waves Then Looks Down gif.
Many fans of the game are excited about this collaboration, considering that both games share a military theme. As for some others, they want the game to be fixed and want new features before crossover collaborations.
X User Jesse Portillo said, “We can’t go another month or 2 without console-only crossplay. Please add it in with the new season update or you are gonna kill your game. This is a mistake that Devs make is waiting to long to address issues…. Also, swap Layali Grove out, it shouldnt be 24/7 over other maps.” User USMCto1811 asked, “Are you going to fix the insufficient space error on console?”
The good news is that Team Jade has confirmed that the console versions of Delta Force will be getting performance improvements in the upcoming season.
