Congratulating the newly established Mandya University of Agricultural Sciences, Kumara expressed hope that such capacity-building programmes for newly recruited faculty and staff would act as valuable platforms for knowledge enhancement and professional development.He highlighted that agricultural scientists are increasingly elevating the reach of Indian agriculture to the global stage through the adoption of modern, cutting-edge technologies. “These training programmes are not just learning opportunities, but sources of inspiration,” he said.Kumara emphasised the importance of sincerity in one’s work. “Every task undertaken with dedication yields meaningful results. Staff must work without expecting immediate rewards—this selfless approach contributes to both institutional progress and personal growth,” he stated. He also stressed the importance of the practical application of scientific research. “Research findings should not be confined to academic journals.
