    August 23, 20241 Min Read

New Delhi: Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.14 per cent to Rs813.70 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand. On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for delivery in September traded higher Rs1.15 or 0.14 per cent at Rs813.70 per kg in a business turnover of 6,546 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.

Aluminium futures rise on fresh bets

On MCX, aluminium contracts for September delivery increased Rs3.15 or 1.38 per cent to Rs232.10 per kg in a business turnover of 1,836 lots.
