Cohen & Steers Teams with DBS Bank to Provide Access to Cohen & Steers Diversified Real Assets Fund

    October 8, 20254 Mins Read

SINGAPORE, Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Cohen & Steers, Inc. (NYSE: CNS) announced it is teaming with DBS to provide access to the Cohen & Steers Diversified Real Assets Fund.

The Diversified Real Assets Fund is designed to deliver attractive total return while maximizing real returns during inflationary environments. The strategy invests across four core real asset categories – global real estate, global natural resources, global listed infrastructure, and commodities – providing investors with broad diversification within the Real Assets category and inflation protection.

Through this collaboration, DBS clients will gain access to Cohen & Steers’ decades of expertise in actively managing real assets, supported by a dedicated team of investment professionals with a track record of navigating multiple market cycles.

Hou Wey Fook, Chief Investment Officer, DBS Bank, said: “In a polarising world marked by rising volatility and geopolitical uncertainties, alternatives and real assets play an integral role in portfolios. As developed markets governments embark on twin easing – both monetary and fiscal – inflation is poised to rise in the years ahead, translating to rising demand for real assets as an inflation hedge. We look forward to partnering with Cohen & Steers to provide our clients with a differentiated real assets strategy for portfolio resilience.”

Sean Wong, Head of Product Management, Managed Solutions, DBS Bank, said: “Amidst today’s uncertain macro and interest rate environment, real assets as an asset class is increasingly important in investors’ portfolios, providing inflation protection and diversification benefits from traditional equity-bond portfolios. We believe the Cohen & Steers Diversified Real Assets Fund – with actively managed allocations across the real assets spectrum, complemented with bottom-up security selection – provide DBS clients with additional capabilities to further strengthen their portfolios.”

Vince Childers, Head of Real Assets and Portfolio Manager, said:
“Our research shows that combining global real estate, global natural resources, global listed infrastructure and commodities creates a more balanced real assets strategy. We look forward to teaming with DBS to manage risk, mitigate the impact of inflation, and deliver more consistent performance across market conditions.”

This announcement underscores the shared commitment of Cohen & Steers and DBS to provide innovative investment solutions that are designed to address the evolving needs of investors in Asia. By broadening access to diversified real assets, the initiative aims to support clients in building resilient portfolios that seek to mitigate inflationary pressures and market volatility.

David Conway, Head of International Wholesale Distribution, said:
“It is a privilege to establish a relationship with one of the most respected private banks in the region and support DBS through a new Singapore office. We are excited about the opportunity to support DBS and look forward to building a strong and successful collaboration together.”
