    Climatiseurs moins énergivores : une nouvelle réglémentation en vigueur le 1er mars

    Les Energy Efficiency (Minimum Energy Performance Standards for Regulated Machinery) Regulations 2025 seront amendés pour instaurer des normes minimales de performance énergétique obligatoires pour les climatiseurs. L’objectif est de mieux contrôler leur consommation d’énergie dès l’importation.Dans un premier temps, cette réglementation s’appliquera aux climatiseurs réglementés, incluant les modèles split, à double conduit et à conduit unique portables, d’une capacité de refroidissement maximale de 12 kW. Le règlement entrera en vigueur le 1er mars prochain, avec un moratoire de six mois accordé aux commerçants pour leur mise en conformité. Cette décision a été entérinée par le Conseil des ministres, réuni ce vendredi 21 février.
