    Atmos Energy makes two large donations to Wichita Falls area systems

    WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Atmos Energy has presented two donation checks to the American Red Cross and Vernon College.

    Atmos Energy presented a $10,000 check to the American Red Cross to assist with disaster relief.

    “The American Red Cross does so much for our communities when the is an emergency. Atmos Energy is honored to partner with them to help those in need.”

    Atmos Energy also presented a $5,000 check to Vernon College to fund scholarships for the Wichita Falls and Vernon campuses.

    With scholarship donations, Atmos Energy said they hope to help Vernon College students achieve their educational goals, whether in a skilled trade or an associate’s degree.
