Woody Worthington, Director of National Partnerships and Government Affairs at Green our Planet, will be the guest speaker at the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting this Tuesday.
Worthington will share how Green Our Planet trains teachers to promote agriculture literacy in local schools by using school gardens and hydroponic laboratories to teach students STEM, conservation, nutrition, and entrepreneurship in a hands-on engaging way.
The public is invited to attend the meeting which takes place Tuesday, Oct. 29, at noon, in the Brewery Arts Center’s Grand Ballroom, 449 West King Street in Carson City.
