First Abu Dhabi Bank Misr (FABMISR) has partnered with Noon Payments, the FinTech subsidiary of the regional eCommerce platform Noon, following the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) approval of Noon Payments as a licensed Payment Service Provider (PSP). This collaboration plays an important role in Egypt’s journey toward a digitally empowered economy, reinforcing FABMISR’s position as a forward-looking financial institution committed to innovation and customer-centric banking.

The partnership is designed to advance digital payment capabilities and deliver a more integrated and seamless eCommerce experience for businesses and consumers alike. By combining FABMISR’s banking expertise and technological infrastructure with Noon Payments’ dynamic FinTech platform, the initiative will streamline digital transactions, improve security, and simplify payment processing for merchants across Egypt’s fast-growing online retail sector.

This alliance reflects the deepening cooperation between the banking and FinTech ecosystems, aimed at fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity in Egypt’s financial landscape. FABMISR and Noon Payments will work together to introduce new tools that support real-time payments, enhance fraud prevention, and provide local merchants with reliable access to digital financial solutions. The partnership also creates opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate more effectively in the digital economy, thereby driving sustainable business growth and entrepreneurship.

Aligned with the Central Bank of Egypt’s strategic vision to promote financial inclusion and reduce reliance on cash-based transactions, the collaboration underscores FABMISR’s dedication to developing a modern, technology-driven payments infrastructure. It also strengthens the foundation for a more connected financial ecosystem—one that encourages innovation while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and consumer trust.

Through this partnership, FABMISR and Noon Payments reaffirm their shared commitment to empowering Egypt’s digital transformation. Together, they aim to build a robust and inclusive payments framework that not only meets evolving customer needs but also positions Egypt as a regional leader in digital finance and eCommerce innovation.
