    August 12, 20251 Min Read

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) Gandhinagar and Gujarat Technological University (GTU) Ahmedabad to strengthen industry-academia collaboration in the fields of International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) education, fintech innovation, and research.

As part of the collaboration, both institutions will jointly develop specialised courses, training programmes, certification modules, and a dedicated Centre of Excellence focused on opportunities in GIFT IFSC and emerging trends in financial technology.

“We are witnessing significant traction from leading financial and tech entities to set-up their base in GIFT City. The collaboration with GTU will help towards creating a future-ready talent pool that can contribute to the growth and strengthening India’s position in the global financial and tech ecosystem,” Sanjay Kaul, MD and Group CEO, GIFT City, was quoted as saying in a statement.

Prof Rajul Gajjar, Vice-Chancellor, GTU, added, “By combining GTU’s academic expertise with GIFT City’s industry leadership, we aim to offer students and professionals unmatched exposure to global financial markets and technologies.”
