Ukraine exports 3.4M tonnes of agricultural products in July – UCAB

    August 10, 20252 Mins Read

In July 2025, Ukraine exported 3.4 million tonnes of agricultural products, which is 4.2% less than the volume recorded in June.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB), according to Ukrinform.

The export structure for July included 1.6 million tonnes of cereals, with wheat accounting for 45%, corn for 38%, and barley for 16%. This category saw a 27% decrease compared to the previous month.

Oilseed exports totaled 523.5 thousand tonnes, with soybeans making up 72% and rapeseed 27%. This segment experienced a 66% increase.

Vegetable oil exports reached 519.5 thousand tonnes, dominated by sunflower oil at 89% and soybean oil at 11%, reflecting a 46% rise.

Exports of oilseed cake, a byproduct of vegetable oil extraction, amounted to 431.3 thousand tonnes. Sunflower cake represented 65%, while soybean cake made up 35%, showing an 11% growth.

Other types of agricultural products accounted for 329.0 thousand tonnes, with a 16% increase compared to June.

Despite the overall decline in total volume, the significant growth in oilseeds, vegetable oils, and other categories highlights evolving trends in Ukraine’s agricultural export landscape.

Although Ukraine is actively harvesting early grain crops, the timing of harvests varies significantly across different regions. This regional disparity has led to a delayed start in grain exports, which are only now beginning to gain momentum. A notable increase in export volumes is expected in August 2025, corresponding with the rise in harvest yields.

As earlier reported, according to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, agri-food exports from January to June 2025 totaled USD 11.305 billion, representing a 9% decline compared to the same period last year.
