Jakarta. Indonesia Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (ICDX) and Indonesia Clearing House (ICH) were honored for their initiatives and contributions to the development of Indonesia’s energy and mineral industry. The prestigious awards were presented during the Appreciation Night at the 2025 Mineral Energy Festival, held at Hutan Kota by Plataran, Jakarta, on Thursday.
ICDX Director Nursalam expressed his gratitude for the recognition and extended appreciation to B-Universe and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) as organizers of the two-day event, held from July 30–31.
“This award serves as motivation for us to continuously grow, innovate, and contribute to helping Indonesia achieve and realize energy self-sufficiency,” Nursalam said after receiving the award.
ICDX was recognized for its significant role in the trading of energy and mineral commodities in Indonesia. It provides a platform for both physical and derivative trading of energy commodities such as coal, minerals, and nickel — Indonesia’s flagship commodities.
Through ICDX, transactions in the energy and mineral commodities sector can be conducted transparently and efficiently, supporting price stability and economic growth.
At the same event, ICH Director Dijah Pratiwi also expressed gratitude for the award. She noted that this recognition strengthens their commitment to supporting key national energy self-sufficiency programs.
“Especially since ICH has launched the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) program. This motivates us to continue supporting national energy independence. With REC, businesses can purchase certified renewable energy generated through our system,” she said.
ICH received the award for its dedication and participation in building and strengthening the commodity futures trading ecosystem, specifically through the establishment of a Renewable Energy Certificate Exchange. Within this REC trading ecosystem, ICH serves as the clearing institution, providing systems and infrastructure for the clearing and settlement of transactions related to the program.
At the 2025 Mineral Energy Festival, ICDX and ICH were acknowledged as key players and supporters of the energy and mineral sector — not only promoting sustainability but also driving continued growth and competitiveness in the industry.
