The 14th running of the Silver Dollar Nationals takes over state-of-the-art Huset’s Speedway for the three-day Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event rewarding $53,000-to-win for Saturday’s finale.
Bobby Pierce streaked to his second straight flag-to-flag from the front row at the third-mile oval for his sixth consecutive victory and 23rd overall triumph this season (when counting his super saloon win in New Zealand earlier this year). Devin Moran finished second, 0.615 of a second behind.
Tim McCreadie, Daulton Wilson and 10th-starting Ricky Thornton Jr. rounded out the top-five. Brandon Sheppard started 13th and finished sixth. Hudson O’Neal started 15th and finished 10th.
